Welcome to 

The World Foundation for Humanity

As we begin our fifth year serving the needs of our friends 

around world, I would like to take this opportunity to Welcome

you to The World Foundation for Humanity.

While our work around the world is vital, we are much different

from other organizations.  We do not solicit or accept funds from 

anyone.  We prefer to be of service through our own funds that

we gather throughout the year through the work that I provide 

through television, motion pictures, seminars, books and concerts.

While we perform many functions throughout the year, we are

dedicated to serving the needs of the many who have lost their

way and seek a new beginning.  We especially serve those

around the world who have no voice and have lost hope, for

we become their voice and through our work we inspire Hope.

Unfortunately, we live in a judgmental world where very few

are afforded a fair and equal Second Chance to compete in life.

Those that we support are the unseen and the unheard, and

we are determined to help them to make a vital difference in 

our world.  Judging others is easy.  But to reach out and to help 

them, is the most human act that anyone can ever do for another.  

Being the Founder of this organization is something I take

very seriously and it has become a personal journey for me.

"Only and if you have been through the deepest valleys

in life, will you ever truly know the magnificence of being

on the highest mountain."

My name is Fred Brito and not very long ago I lived 
life at my lowest ebb. I called the streets of Los Angeles home. 
I was cold, naked and living in despair, and I knew that no one 
was going to help me but me. So, as difficult as it was, I picked 
myself up and I started to walk in the right direction until I found 
a way out of my own despair. Today, I do all that I can to do 
the same for others. This is my journey.

As the Poet Jack Frost wrote:

"I have miles to go before I sleep."

So Let's get busy serving the people in need!

for 2010.  This is a bold plan that encourages a new 

set of policies.  It will challenge everyone in business 

and communities across America to focus on the 

real issues that face all Americans. No longer will it

be business as usual.  We will inspire change with

policies that will work to ensure that everyone, no

matter their economic situation will have a fair and

equal opportunity to compete in the workplace and 
the opportunity to work hard and succeed in 
achieving and living . . . The America Dream.

"Initiative for America 2011"

is this years theme selected by twelve year old 
Chad Tsui of Kowloon, China.  

This year's goal is dedicated towards

education.  Teaching people around the world

how to survive in a difficult world through

positive thinking, which creates Positive Actions.

We will do this through a three-fold plan of

action adopted by the National Board of Directors.

I

To reach out to the Homeless in America

and create programs that will have a lasting

impact in their lives.  Changing the way of thinking

from the negative to the Positive.  To educate them

that their is Hope, and that they have a voice and 

how to use that voice. To educate them in the necessary

tools that will take them off the streets of Main Street

America and into the workplace.  It is our belief that

if we are able to teach a person to fish, then

they will never go hungry.

To educate senior level administrators in Corporations, and 

small businesses in America of the value of allowing others 

a Fair and Equal Second Chance at life.

The Foundations believes that we have far too many talented 

and skilled workers who may have lost their way and made mistakes 

in their lives that hinder their ability to obtain gainful employment.  

We believe that if we can bring the business community all across 

America and bridge the gap between people seeking a better

way of life, after making a mistake.  This is crucial and it is 

one of our highest priorities this year. It is our goal to get
business leaders to Think Positive and give others a
Second Chance at opportunity.  It is better, in our view
to have people working, earning an income, paying taxes 
and off the public dole.  The results:  Less people on
welfare and unemployment and becoming self sufficient.


Looking forward and allowing others a fair and equal
chance to compete in the workplace.  The alternative
is one of the greatest losses of human potential.

III

 To Educate, Inspire, and challenge all Americans to begin the

process anew to bring the family together.  Many of the problems

in America is due to the family unit being absent.  Parents have

given up their role as the primary educators of their children to

television and video games.  In the end, our children end up in

crisis and in many cases dead, and we believe that we must do

all that we can to bring together and build the family unit in an

effort to stop the carelessness which leads our young into drug 

abuse, incarceration and a life of despair.  Our prisons are full

of young misguided young people, and it is our hope to educate

and bring the family together through our new program that

have been developed by some of America's most well known

and experienced professionals.

We launch this years Initiative B+ with the hope that we can

make a vital impact in our nation, one community at a time. 

We aim to work hard to change this, and we will!

Fred Brito Goes to Detroit

The City of Detroit, impacted by loss of jobs and a huge increase 

in homelessness will be the home of yet another Fred Brito Seminar.

How to Apply for a Gift

The application process is pain-free. Applicants should write a letter, free hand to the Board of Directors to the address below. We urge you to be has open and honest with regards to your situation, by telling us about yourself and the situation, which brings you to us.

Gift applications are accepted at any time throughout the year; however, funding decisions are made quarterly when the World Foundation for Humanity Board of trustees meets. In order for each proposal to be thoughtfully studied, it is important for the applying individuals and or organizations to have its proposal in the hands of the trust staff at least eight weeks prior to the trustees' meeting. Please do not use binders or notebooks. Only one copy of the proposal is requested. It should be noted that The World Foundation for Humanity receives far more proposals each year than it is able to fund.

Proposal Deadlines:

* January 15 (Trustee review in early-April)
* April 1 (Trustee review in mid-June)
* July 1 (Trustee review in mid-September)
* October 1 (Trustee review in mid-December)

Notification:

The World Foundation for Humanity will send letters outlining all trustee decisions within two weeks following each quarterly meeting.

In the case of organizations which have had grants approved, the Foundation respectfully requests that all proposed press releases be cleared with the Trust. It also requests that no statues, plaques, or framed certificates be presented to the Foundation for its support of projects or organizations. All Gifts are confidential and there will be no press releases or announcements by the Trust
